The GA10 vapor pad Also known as part 7905 sometimes called a water filter or humidifier pad is a very important part of the humidifier. The purpose of the vapor pad is to act like a sponge, absorbing water that moisturizes the dry air in your home, reducing the negative effects of over-dry air: such as allergy and asthma symptoms, dry nose, itchy skin, and cracked/warped wood floors or furniture.
The GeneralAire GA 10 Vapor Pad is a humidifier pad made of expanded aluminum. The pad is coated with a hydrophilic material that absorbs and holds water flowing through the pad, allowing warm air flowing across the pad to evaporate the water and humidify the air.
